Role Description

Are you highly analytical, pragmatic, and energized by optimizing processes and data analysis? Do you help us to continuously improve ourselves?
Then we are looking for you to join our team. Together we ensure an increasingly effective process to produce high quality products at low cost for our customers. You will work in a team of different disciplines, working closely together in a safe environment.
You will report to the Manager Engineering in Wormer with a dotted line to the Manager Process Automation in Koog aan de Zaan.

Key Deliverables

  • Collaborate with other teams (Production, Engineering, Maintenance, IT) and provide input from a manufacturing process perspective to identify automation opportunities and troubleshoot and maintain existing systems
  • Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing operations
  • Work alongside the Engineering department to develop and execute projects aimed at enhancing operational and energy efficiency
  • Work with existing and new computerized and automated systems
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet operational requirements and safety standards
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on automated systems and processes
  • Collaborate with other departments to implement new equipment automation and connection between different units for manufacturing process readiness
  • Work together with Production/Validation on execution of process/equipment validation
  • Work according to the applicable procedures, guidelines and safety regulations. Take care of adequate change management documentation

Candidate Profile

  • HBO level (or above) of education with relevant work experience.
  • Experience working under GMP guidelines
  • Familiarity with automation systems
  • Experience in working within project teams/organizations is preferred
  • Good communication skills across different organizational levels
  • Proficiency in Dutch and Englisch
  • Quality consciousness, flexibility, and proactive approach
  • Knowledge of control systems and process engineering (ABB Industrial IT, MES (Brighteye/Aveva))
