The role

In this role, you will lead a boots-on-the-ground approach to build a holistic, long-term sustainability program in our dairy supply chain in Poland. Working closely with our global sustainability team as well as our local origin team, you will accelerate the transition to sustainable and regenerative science-based practices on dairy farms.

You will build a robust network of stakeholders and work closely with dairy manufacturers, farmers, as well as customers and other external stakeholders such as input providers, farm advisors, government  , and research to build a supporting environment for the program. 

You will ensure the monitoring and reporting of the progress made according to the relevant sustainability frameworks and stakeholders’ requirements. 
 

The responsibilities

  • Implement and scale up a holistic program to accelerate the transition to sustainable farming practices in our polish dairy supply chain
  • Engage with external stakeholders to build a robust environment supporting the program
  • Incorporate customers and other stakeholders’ expectations and requirements into the program
  • Monitor, report and verify the progress made with the support of our digital tools and central sustainability experts

About You

You will balance commercial and sustainability priorities appropriately and bring technical credibility to decision making, balancing strategy and vision with practical operational project management. You will need to influence external stakeholders, working with dairy manufacturers, farmers, customers, and other stakeholders to build a long-term sustainability program supported by the community. For this position, you will need to be ambitious, take initiative, have a hands-on mentality and an entrepreneurial spirit:

  • 2+ years of work experience in stakeholder and project management 
  • Good knowledge of farm sustainability initiatives
  • A collaborative approach to influence multiple stakeholders 
  • An ability to deliver successful projects, bringing an agile mentality and innovative solutions
  • Methodical and accurate way of working and affinity with numbers and digital solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, native polish and good English speaker and writer
