Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee inbound and outbound traffic, manage the buying and delivery process, and ensure product availability in our warehouses. Reporting to the Head of Contract Manufacturing, you will focus on operational supply chain improvements that directly benefit our customers. You will work closely with external contract manufacturing partners, internal sites, warehouses, and colleagues from Production, Customer Service, Sales, and Quality.
Key Deliverables
In this position, you'll be a key player in ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and on time. You'll be making a tangible impact on both our business and customer satisfaction. The work is diverse and dynamic. No day is the same. Amongst your responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, enable timely quality release, and allocate inventory efficiently.
- Supply Management: Plan supply, manage purchase orders, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate with logistics partners, optimize transportation routes, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Process Efficiency and Cost Optimization: Drive process efficiency, manage cost-saving initiatives, and utilize supply chain management tools.
- Customer Focus and Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and seamless communication.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on supply chain processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in an operational supply chain role, preferably in Production Planning or Material Planning.
- Experience in developing inbound strategies to support business goals.
- Proven capability in managing complex global supply chain processes and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Hands-on, no-nonsense attitude with the ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Decisive, stress-resilient, and strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Advanced data analysis skills; proficiency in building reports in BI tools is a plus.
