Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead the sales efforts in the region. As the Regional sales manager (RSM), you will be responsible for planning & setting objectives to achieve the top line and bottom-line results of the region as per the business plan and defined budget. You will be leading a team of 6-7 professionals in purchase and/or logistics. Additionally, you will be actively managing the purchase side in Ukraine.
For this position, your home base will be in Warsaw, Poland. It is important that you are capable of (remote) supervision and setting profitable goals. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills with a strategic
mindset.

Strategic Effectiveness

  • Design and implement a regional sales plan in line with distribution segment strategy.
  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
  • Translate quarterly sales and revenue targets into comprehensive action plans.
  • Acts as an innovator and recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.

 

Operational Effectiveness

  • Monitor performance against plans and objectives and takes remedial action in cases of shortfalls.
  • Coordinate sales and distribution activities within the region.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities within the region.
  • Manage purchasing for Ukranian market.
  • Manage, coordinate and support distributors.
  • Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.
  • Managing local teams across a country/region.

Requirements

The ideal candidate shows a love to selling, is result-oriented, has the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and delivers good teamwork. 

The minimum requirements we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in food commodities trading (B2B segment), preferably in an international organization.
  • Experience managing a team 
  • Advanced English, fluent Ukrainian and Russian
  • Ability to travel on business to Ukraine is a must.
