Job Description
Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, the role is responsible for executing the activities of logistics planning related to the Sales position (Sales Book + Forecast) and ensuring optimal utilisation of production capacity, including coverage of determine packaging and raw materials needed to cover production demand and to make sure the schedule is followed during production. This includes areas of demand planning, supply planning, production planning and inventory management including all the administrative and operational tasks and support related to planning and execution of production schedules.
Key Deliverables
- Consolidation demand reports and provide the Demand /Supply analyses.
- Oversee short- and medium-term positions for All product groups.
- Timely planning of S&OP driven meetings and resulting decision actions
- Actively adjust the S&OP plan at the time of capacity and/or quality issues
- Translate sales orders, sales contracts, and forecast into production plans and schedules to fulfil customer’s requirements.
- Coordinate and administrate production workflow for one or multiple products, ensuring sufficient raw materials, components, staff and other necessary items are procured and ready to create finished products according to the schedule specified.
- Allocate products available for shipments to meet contractual obligations with customers.
- Monitor manufacturing performance (e.g.: right first time, reject, etc.) and actively adjust production schedules in response to equipment failures or supply shortages.
- Liaise with Quality Assurance department to ensure that customer’s requirements are met and products are released on time.
- Liaise with Quality Control, SAP reporting + Reprocessing Planning.
- Work with our Raw materials (eg: Beans) on the Quality & Supply.
- Liaise with Shipping and Warehouse teams on daily shipment execution to unallocated and reallocate stocks when required.
- Liaise with the Commercial team on the acceptance and delivery of wider-specs products.
- Liaise with Customs/Logistics on Track/Trace special production runs. From beans to FG.
- Execute work order creation and closing in SAP
- Check and correct system transaction errors in SAP at month end close.
- Prepare reports outlining production activities and effectiveness.
- Directing work to be performed by his/her team & Instructing on the method of approach.
- Supervising the execution of the work (qualitatively and quantitatively), monitoring progress.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors or equivalent degree.
- Knowledge with SAP system is a must.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Advanced on Excel.
- Effective and good communication skills, (English B2)
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Planning working experience (4+ years) in food manufacturing environment preferred
