Job Summary

The Consumer and Market Insights Assistant will be part of the global Insights team within the global Marketing structure of ofi. This role will work within the APAC region for consumer and market insights projects. The APAC region consists of the following key markets, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines as well as Australasia (Australia & New Zealand).

This is an exciting role partnering with marketing, sales, innovation, sustainability, and operations teams to be part of our journey to co-create insight-led consumer solutions. You’ll get exposure to a wide variety of category, product, market, customer, and consumer challenges as we set out to ensure to are truly customer and consumer led.

Job Description

  • Contributes to the data processing and analysis of key findings in market insight studies
  • Conduct research studies to better understand the markets, categories, consumers, and competitive environments identifying future challenges or opportunities to explore.
  • Provide effective and timely supports to the insights projects and activities
  • To create a research framework to address customer’s key business questions.
  • Support in preparing business reports and customer presentations.
  • Gathering and sharing regular Insights updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in organising and managing an internal library of project decks and insights reports.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in business, market research, marketing, psychology, mathematics, statistics.
  • Language skills: Bilingual in English and preferably a South-East Asian language.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in market research/marketing/consulting roles, including project management and data analytic responsibilities.
  • Past experience in a research role within the food ingredients/FMCG/CPG/Foodservice industry is an added advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in of MS Office Tools especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
  • Familiar with external data and research platforms such as Nielsen, IRI, Innova, Mintel, Euromonitor etc.
  • Resourceful and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Design sense for highly visual and data driven Power Point.
  • Adaptable and open to change and innovation.
  • Is driven, curious and open in style
