Job Description

To support the implementation of cocoa sustainability programs for dedicated customers and ensure the monitoring and evaluation in intervention area.

Sets up his/her activity plan as per the global activity plan and budget approved by the customers   
Establishes workplan of each coop to be implemented by  of group administrators, agronomists, lead farmers, AOC, ASR for each of the coop under his/her supervision (assures adequate equipment of the agents)   

Key Deliverables

Monitors performance and contribute to evaluation  of coop technical staff (group administrators, agronomists, lead farmers, ASR, AOC)

- Visits  and documents Household , Agronomist during pruning evaluation and demo plots/agronomic trials

- Visits and documents Collects Data for regional and coops survey

- Supervises implementation of social infrastructures and initiatives

- Verifies and documents premium payment (ODK) agroforestry activities (trees distribution and planting)

- Reviews CLMRS remediation action plan and submits objective evidence

- Monitors community development activities (Community Action Plan, VSLAs activities, Income Generating Activities)

Organizational Effectiveness

Assures representation of ofi in his/her intervention area  (meetings with program key stakeholders, authorities, field visit, cooperatives general assemblies)
Ensures compliance of the activities against the certification/verification audit check list, incl AtSource
Assures the training of Farmer Business School (FBS)“

Requirements

Good knowledge of rural environment and cocoa sector – good agricultural, social and environmental practices, familiar with certifications, willingness to be moved frequently  upcountry.
Applicants need to be familiar with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word.
Fluency in writing and speaking English is required
