Vice President – Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic, influential, and forward-thinking Vice President – Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to take ownership of our ERM agenda across the group. This high-impact and senior role is responsible for shaping the ERM strategy, embedding risk thinking at all levels of the organization, and partnering with senior leadership to enable risk-informed decision-making.
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk, Tax and Insurance, the role is both strategic and collaborative, requiring excellent technical knowledge and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

(1) ERM Strategy 
•    Drive the ongoing development and refinement of the group-wide ERM framework, ensuring alignment with best practices (e.g., COSO ERM, ISO 31000) and the company’s strategic objectives.
•    Translate enterprise strategy into a proactive ERM roadmap, setting priorities for risk identification, mitigation, and governance.
•    Define and maintain the organization's enterprise risk appetite levels, ensuring integration into strategic and operational decision-making.
•    Oversee the corporate risk register and ensure a consistent, enterprise-wide approach to risk assessment and escalation.
•    Lead periodic ERM maturity assessments to benchmark progress and identify areas for enhancement.
•    Partner with Strategy, Transformation, and Finance teams to embed risk considerations into strategic planning, capital allocation, and major initiatives.

(2) Risk Governance 
•    Manage enterprise-level risk governance processes, including preparation for risk committees and board-level reporting.
•    Provide senior management, Audit and Risk Committee, and the Board with actionable insights on top enterprise risks, emerging threats, and mitigation progress.
•    Ensure alignment between ERM and other assurance functions (Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal) to support coordinated oversight and minimise duplication.
•    Monitor and analyse key risk indicators (KRIs) and external risk signals to maintain a forward-looking risk perspective.
•    Define and maintain risk escalation protocols to ensure timely action on critical risks.


Qualifications & Experience
•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
•    More than 12-15 years of experience in enterprise and operational risk management, with at least 5 years in a senior risk leadership role in a complex, global organization.
•    Deep understanding of enterprise risk frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000), governance practices, and business integration.     
•    Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and contribute meaningfully to strategic planning and decision-making.
•    Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and complex initiatives.
•    Experience with risk systems and analytics.
•    Professional risk management certifications such as CRMP, CRM, FRM or CIA are preferred.
