Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Internal Communications Specialist to join our global team and help bring our internal communications strategy to life. This is an exciting opportunity for a rising communications professional who is passionate about engaging employees through creative, high-impact storytelling. 

 

Based in London and reporting to the Head of Internal & Change Communications, you will play an important role in shaping the communications experience for our employees. You’ll work closely with colleagues across different time zones, so you need to be smart and efficient in your approach, able to juggle multiple projects and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The work is genuinely fascinating and rewarding, as well as varied and fast-paced. From organising live events to writing global news, to building out creative assets, we can guarantee you'll never be bored!

Key Deliverables

  • Support the delivery of the global Internal Communications strategy through engaging campaigns and multi-channel tactics that inspire and connect employees worldwide.   
  • Develop and deliver communications plans for global creative campaigns aligned with our EVP and business priorities. 
  • Write, edit, and produce compelling content across formats and platforms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with our tone of voice. 
  • Maintain and coordinate communications calendars to ensure alignment and visibility across global audiences. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and a global network of communicators to ensure timely and effective content delivery. 
  • Support executive communications and events, including global town halls and leadership messaging. 
  • Monitor and report on engagement metrics to continuously improve communications effectiveness. 
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Staffbase support team, proactively managing platform performance and issue resolution.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. 
  • Reasonable number of years of experience in internal communications, ideally in a global, matrixed organization. 
  • Proven success in delivering multi-channel campaigns that drive employee engagement and support strategic goals. 
  • Experience working across time zones and cultures. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint and Teams. Experience with Staffbase is highly desirable. 
  • Experience of vendor management and strong stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. English proficiency certification required if not a native speaker or graduate of an English-speaking institution. 
  • Proficiency in additional languages desirable.
