Job Description

  • Supervise and review monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reports for UK Entities 
  • Coordinate and manage to ensure timely external audit and statutory filing of Financial Statements, Corporate Income Tax and VAT (liaise with Auditors, Tax advisors, Payroll provider, OFI directors, OFI Corp Tax team)
  • Monitor and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks including financial controls (such as banking access, user system access review, BS review, Fixed Asset verifications etc)
  • Analyse financial performance and identify areas for improvement and cost reduction
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes and review variance analysis against plan
  • Manage cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals and manage delivery of offshore finance operations.
  • Liaise with other departments and functions to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Keep abreast of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Partnering with key Business team anchors for finance related requirements for UK operations

Candidate's Profile

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax laws
  • Proven analytical skills & ability to interpret or generate all types of financial data, financial reports and statements.
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable. 
  • Strong focus and understanding of finance process and internal control environment.
  • Expert knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Power point
