Job Description

Reporting

Oversee and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reports for the UK entities within the Group
Manage timely external audits and statutory filings of financial statements
Managing the timely calculation and filings of tax returns
Monitor and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and review variance analysis for UK entities

Interface, Audit & Review

Assist in preparation of technical accounting memos in line with IFRS standard and liaising with auditors to close out any related issues.
Liaising with offshore accounting teams to ensure accounting entries are posted in a timely manner and in compliance with the Group accounting policies.
Partnering with key Business team anchors for finance related requirements for UK operations

Administrative activities

Completion of quarterly ONS surveys relating to UK entities
Other activities as required

Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

Understanding of accounting standard and application including IFRS, UK GAAP and tax laws
Understanding of the aspects involved in a multi-currency Group consolidation.
Proven analytical skills & ability to interpret or generate all types of financial data, financial reports and statements.
Knowledge of SAP Consolidation software is desirable.
Knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Power point
