Key Responsibilities

Assist in coffee sourcing and procurement from farmers, cooperatives, and traders.
Conduct field visits to coffee-growing regions to assess crop quality, yield, and farmer relations.
Support in price negotiations and contract management with suppliers.
Monitor market trends, coffee prices, and supply chain dynamics to ensure competitive procurement.
Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that sourced coffee meets company and market standards.
Analyze procurement data and generate reports to improve sourcing efficiency.
Assist in the implementation of sustainability initiatives and traceability programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and export operations.

Requirements

MBA graduate from a leading university in Uganda.
Strong interest in coffee procurement, supply chain management, and agribusiness.
Analytical mindset with good numerical, excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel to rural coffee-growing regions for fieldwork.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building supplier relationships.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced business environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
