Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to grow our business in the Northern region of Nigeria. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to expand our presence in the open market segment
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales roadmap for the open market segment in Northern Nigeria.
- Identify and address distribution gaps to enhance market penetration and customer reach.
- Drive sales growth by implementing targeted sales and marketing initiatives to meet or exceed performance targets.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key customer accounts and business partners.
- Provide expert support to clients, ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to operational standards.
- Monitor key account performance, analyze trends, and take proactive steps to optimize results and ensure compliance with credit policies.
- Deliver market intelligence and insights to support business planning and decision-making.
- Contribute to budgeting, sales forecasting, and performance reporting to support strategic planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- A tertiary degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales management within a competitive and fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and collaboratively within a team.
- Customer-centric mindset with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
