Job Description
Reporting to the CoE Order to Cash- Director, the SAP Order to Cash Lead will support both the O2C and Transportation function. This role involves leading the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP SD processes and systems to ensure that business requirements are met efficiently.
This ideal candidate should be well-versed in the configuration of SAP. Strong functional knowledge in Orde to Cash will be essential to success. The candidate should possess strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP SD and TM related activities
- Collaborate with business teams to understand business requirements, fit gap analysis, business processes and map solutions in SAP
- Proven hands-on experience in configuring SAP SD and TM module functionality, including sales order processing, delivery processing, logistics, invoicing, and customer relationship management
- Familiar with integration between SAP and other SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, PP)
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Maintain effective partnership between SD COE and other SAP COEs (e.g. MM, SD, PP, FICO) and business units.
- Coordinate with cross functional team members to resolve issues and provide solutions in SAP
- Provide training to users on SAP transactions & processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP Sales & Distribution, with at least three end-to-end implementation projects is required.
- Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, QM, FI/CO).
- Previous business/ manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Must possess excellent knowledge in following areas:
- Experienced in all SD aspects, including defining & assigning Enterprise Structure, Master data, Pre-Sales, Sales Order processing.
- Strong understanding of SAP SD and TM core functionalities, such as order processing, pricing, shipping, and invoicing
- Strong understanding on Handling returns and credit/ debit notes
- Good understanding on Transportation planning, Transportation cost, Integration with SAP SD and with other modules
- Awareness of industry best practices and SAP recommendations for SD and TM implementation.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, are required.
- The ability to be adaptable, capable, self-motivated, and confident is required.
- Experience with change management and user adoption strategies.
- Strong skills in Excel (able to perform all basic functions such as Pivots, V-lookup, and formulas) are required.
- Flexibility to travel across globally for project implementation
