Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager specializing in Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects related to the development, implementation, and maintenance cybersecurity systems, with a focus on OT/ICS security systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT professionals, cybersecurity analysts, and plant leadership, to ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
Your expertise in both infrastructure and cybersecurity will be crucial in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and driving the overall security of our organization's IT systems.
You will be responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery of the IT/OT cyber security program and associated projects. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all projects are completed successfully - on time, within budget whilst delivering the expected benefits and objectives.
The ideal candidate must possess a solid understanding of Cyber security platforms, both within the IT and OT environments. With excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing global implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage the internal PPM delivery methodology and processes, ensuring the program governance structure is fully established and effective, such as Steering Committee cadence, Issue escalation, status reporting to multiple levels of leadership.
- Provide oversight and program leadership for the IT/OT Cyber Security journey, whilst delivering sub-projects, and other cyber related projects as necessary.
- Provide early identification of delivery or resource issues, leveraging formal escalation paths as required.
- Lead inter-program dependency reviews with other program managers and peers.
- Develop and document detailed project plan including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements.
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and garner their involvement and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to project schedules. Resolve or escalate issues and conflicts that may arise during project execution.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring efficient utilization of the resources. Allocate resources appropriately to meet project requirements.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to either mitigate or minimize their impact on project success.
- Develop change management plans to facilitate smooth transition during implementations. Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and manage their expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports and change requests. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify lessons learned from each project and implement improvements to project management methodologies and processes.
- Track project benefits, compare them against the initial objectives and deliverables and report them to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors in information technology, computer science or a related field
- Certification in project and / or program management (MSP, PMP, Prince2 or equivalent). Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
- Proven and recent experience leading enterprise-wide cyber security related projects
- Demonstrable delivery successes in large-scale projects, spanning 5-10 years, preferably in food industry.
- Thorough understanding of cyber security and related technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and build relationship with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions to complex business challenges.
- Advanced user of Planview PPM (or similar) and O365 platforms.
- Ability to work with global cross-functional teams.
- Ability and desire to travel, domestically & internationally, as required by the project assignments. Flexible working schedule (early start or delayed end) based on the global project requirements and time zones.
