Job Description
As part of its business transformation journey, ofi is launching an enterprise-wide SAP S/4 program through multiple large and medium sized SAP projects, ultimately implementing SAP S4/HANA across all operations.
The IT Program Manager – SAP S/4 will be responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery of the program and associated projects.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all projects are completed successfully - on time, within budget whilst delivering the expected benefits and objectives.
The ideal candidate must possess a solid understanding of SAP ERP platforms, with excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing global SAP implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage the internal PPM delivery methodology and processes, ensuring the program governance structure is fully established and effective, such as Steering Committee cadence, Issue escalation, status reporting to multiple levels of leadership.
- Provide oversight and program leadership for the SAP S/4 Journey, whilst delivering some of the key sub-projects as necessary.
- Provide early identification of delivery or resource issues, leveraging formal escalation paths as required.
- Lead inter-program dependency reviews with other program managers and peers.
- Develop and document detailed project plan including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements.
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders, both internal and external, and garner their involvement and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to project schedules. Resolve or escalate issues and conflicts that may arise during project execution.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring efficient utilization of the resources. Allocate resources appropriately to meet project requirements.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to either mitigate or minimize their impact on project success.
- Develop change management plans to facilitate smooth transition during SAP implementations. Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders and manage their expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports and change requests. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify lessons learned from each project and implement improvements to project management methodologies and processes.
- Track project benefits, compare them against the initial objectives and deliverables and report them to stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications & Skils
- Bachelors in information technology, computer science or a related field
- Certification in project and / or program management (MSP, PMP, Prince2 or equivalent). Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
- Proven and recent experience leading enterprise programs, at a Senior Project or Program Manager level
- Demonstrable delivery successes in large-scale projects, spanning 10-15 years, preferably in food industry.
- Thorough understanding of SAP ERP platforms and functionalities of core SAP modules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and build relationship with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions to complex business challenges.
- Ability to work with global cross-functional teams.
- Ability and desire to travel, domestically & internationally, as required by the project assignments. Flexible working schedule (early start or delayed end) based on the global project requirements and time zones.
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese will be a significant plus.
