The Role

Would you like to get a taste of working in a global organization? Are you excited to learn more about cocoa ingredients and how to develop indulgent chocolate recipes? Our Chocolate and Confectionery Innovation team at the Customer Solution Center (CSC) in Amsterdam is searching for a proactive and hands-on student who is willing and eager to learn.

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Bachelor/ Master student who is interested in making a difference in developing and innovating novel use of cocoa ingredients in chocolate and confectionery applications


We are looking for a student to take up an exceptional challenge and support our Customer Solution Center Innovation team! You will get a chance to work on a research topic on the use of cocoa ingredients in novel chocolate and confectionery applications. Additionally, we would teach you amazing skills by:
•    Developing new chocolate and confectionery recipes
•    Analyzing sensory and various physical properties of chocolate
•    Design and execute experimental plans
•    Performing process optimization experiments in our new Innovation center in Amsterdam
•    Analyze results and present them to the team


•    Add a Bachelor/ Master with a background in food science and technology or other related fields
•    Available 3 – 5 days per week for 4-6 months
•    Proactive and accurate attitude
•    Hands-on mentality, will need to work in a pilot plant environment in Amsterdam
•    Ability to work in a team environment
•    Analytical mindset
•    Detail oriented and organize
•    Great Excel and Microsoft skills
