The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our cocoa business team. This role is a unique blend of business analysis and support, dedicated to optimizing the Product Line Management (PLM) processes and tools. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders
to enhance efficiency in product management, provide hands-on support, and ensure smooth operations across the PLM desk.
Key Deliverables
Business Analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including commercial, supply chain, and other teams, to collate data to business needs
• Collect, interpret and present data to support decision making at PLM Desk
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track product performance and PLM processes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports by leveraging expertise in product data and analysis.
• Run positions across all three product lines, map to capacities and create free to sell insights
Budget, Forecast Collection and Demand Analysis
• Gather sales forecasts from the sales team and consolidate data into a unified format.
• Analyze forecast data to identify trends, inconsistencies, or potential risks.
• Regularly update and communicate demand forecasts to relevant stakeholders.
• Track sales budgets vs performance and highlight actions required to be taken
Support
• Serve as the first point of contact for PLM-related queries, troubleshooting issues, and providing resolutions.
• As and when needed, enter contracts in the system to support the business.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across product line databases and systems.
• Act as a liaison between the PLM desk, IT teams, and other business units for enhancements or issue escalations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics or related field.
• Experience in business analysis or product management, preferably within the cocoa or food industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau). Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with sales, supply chain, and other teams.
