We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated and ambitious business student from Rotterdam Business School, Amsterdam Business School, Utrecht Business School or any other Dutch Business School, to gain hands-on experience in the procurement field.
This internship is for students interested in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain management providing exposure to real-world projects in a global corporate environment.
As an intern, you will work closely with our Global CapEx Category Lead, supporting key procurement activities and contributing to strategic initiatives. You will receive guidance and mentorship
Responsibilities
- Spend Analysis & Market Research: Supporting spend analysis using our data sources to gain insight into procurement opportunities.
- Supplier Evaluation: Assisting in identifying, assessing, and comparing suppliers for CapEx projects.
- Procurement Strategy Support: Contributing to category strategies, supplier management processes, and contract negotiations.
- RFI/RFQ/RFP Process Assistance: Helping prepare and manage the whole Procurement Process, from the Sourcing Activities (identification of potential Vendors) to the Requests for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes.
- Contract & Compliance Support: Reviewing and summarizing supplier agreements to ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and support ongoing projects.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Preparing reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Successfactors
This internship provides an excellent foundation for students aspiring to build a career in procurement, supply chain management, or business operations.
- You are currently enrolled in a Dutch educational institution.
- You are following a Bachelor's or Master's in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- You'll be working in an International environment. Fluency in English is necessary. Any additional languages are a plus.
- You are willing and able to work in our offices in Amsterdam, overseeing the city skyline.
