Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator be part of the APAC marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing. This role will be based in Singapore and will work within the APAC region to support marketing, insights, and communication projects. The APAC region consists of the following key markets, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines as well as Australasia (Australia & New Zealand). 
This role will provide an opportunity to learn the key functions in B2B marketing, partnering with sales and innovation teams, as well as interacting with customers and suppliers. You’ll get exposure to a wide variety of customer and consumer challenges, rolling out campaigns in multiple markets while building our ofi brand, as part of our transformational journey in co-creating category solutions, leveraging the strength of our 5 product platforms (cocoa, coffee, dairy, nuts and spices).

 

What you will do:

•    POSM adaptation / working with BTL agency to create assets for customer roadshows and workshops 
•    Support marketing campaigns with the development of marketing collaterals, giveaways and other materials, working with suppliers.
•    Conduct desk Research on APAC food and consumption trends to support customer presentations
•    Create and deliver basic customer presentations
•    Organize internal and external marketing events and activities 
•    Support the development of weekly communications newsletter (internal), and a regularly quarterly communications insights report. 
•    Contribute to a bank of resources (templates, FAQs, SOPs and guides) for colleagues, so they can feel empowered to communicate and execute events with confidence.
•    Facilitate supplier payment and budget monitoring
•    Organize and manage APAC Marketing and SIM Teams site


Who we are looking for:

•    Bachelor’s degree ideally in marketing, business, and market research
•    Language skills: Bilingual in English and preferably another Asian language
•    A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing/market research/communications, ideally within the food ingredients/FMCG/CPG/Foodservice industry 
•    Has a passion for food
•    Strong proficiency in of MS Office Tools especially PowerPoint and Excel
•    Familiar with external data and research platforms such as Nielsen, IRI, Innova, Mintel, Euromonitor etc
•    Resourceful and possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•    Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills
•    Design sense for highly visual and data driven Power Point
•    Adaptable and open to change and innovation
•    Is driven, curious and open in style

•   You need to be eligible to work in Singapore on an internship basis as we do not sponsor working visa.
