Job Description
Under the supervision of their hierarchical superiors:
- Participate in the development of HR strategies
- Assess social trends affecting the company’s development
- Implement the group’s objectives and strategies
- Establish and monitor HR performance indicators
- Propose HR optimizations
- Implement HR development strategies
- Assist and advise management staff on HR matters
- Help create a strong corporate culture
- Ensure a positive social climate
Objectives
- Ensure follow-up on the management of insurance contracts (health, life, etc.)
- Ensure follow-up on the management of temporary staff contracts
- Handle litigation cases in collaboration with lawyers
- Participate in employer and union negotiations
- Manage individual and collective conflicts and lead negotiations during social disputes
- Advise staff on labor law matters
- Communicate the organization’s values
- Responsible and accountable for the performance of their team regarding safety
- Leads by example — refuses to take or allow shortcuts
- Organizes regular weekly meetings on safety tools
Strategic Effectiveness
- Regularly update dashboards and other management and activity tracking tools for your sector
- Keep all documents required for your role up to date
- Manage filing and archiving
- Report to your supervisor on the completion of your tasks and the circumstances under which they were carried out
- Promptly and accurately report accidents and incidents in your sector
Comply with clearly identified hygiene requirements applicable to:
- Hygiene and restroom facilities for staff
- The canteen and designated dining areas
- Work clothing and protective gear
- Health status, including illnesses and injuries
- Personal cleanliness
- Required behaviors for staff in manufacturing, packaging, and storage area
Operational Efficiency
- Plan staffing needs
- Develop employee development plans
- Recruit and provide high-potential staff to various departments
- Assist in change management
- Advise on corporate culture
- Establish internal communication channels
- Assess organizational effectiveness through periodic surveys
- Define a training policy
- Implement HR procedures
- Manage restructuring plans
- Validate training needs or assist operational managers in their assessments
Organisational Effectiveness
- Set up dashboards and performance indicators and ensure their use
- Control and validate payroll
- Check the use of vacation days and other absences
- Make salary adjustments for management staff in the system
- Organize and monitor working conditions; enforce discipline and safety in accordance with current regulations and the code of ethics
- Organize and lead meetings for your department
Requirement
Specialization: Management – Law – Human Resources
Professional Experience: At least 5 years in a similar field
Specific Requirements: Good knowledge of labor law, computer skills, and English
